Cooling Systems are designed to both absorb and dissipate heat

Controlling the engines temperature within fine limits depends in the water pump circulating coolant through the engine and radiator. Poor or incorrect maintenance or poor component quality can cause corrosion/rust, damaging major engine components and the radiator with a possibility of subsequent engine failure. Overheating itself caused as a result of scale build up, can cause damage to the engine pistons and rings and lead to high level fuel consumption, piston seizure or a cracked block.

All components match or exceed the original equipment specification as established by Massey Ferguson engineers during the design of the tractor.

FACT – some of the most expensive types of engine damage can be tracked back to overheating, a direct result of the inefficient operation of the tractor’s cooling system.

FACT – of the enormous amount of heat generated be the combustion of fuel in an average diesel engine only a third of this energy is converted into useful work, a further third goes out of the exhaust and the remaining third needs to be dissipated by the engine’s cooling system.

FACT – Poor of incorrect maintenance or poor component quality can cause corrosion/rust, damaging major engine components and the radiator with the possibility of subsequesnt engine failure.

FACT – Overheating, caused as a result of scale build up, can cause damage to the engine’s pistons and rings and lead to increased fuel consumption, piston seizure or even a cracked cylinder block.

FACT – The role of the tractor’s cooling system is to absorb and dissipate heat. Controlling the engine’s temperature within fine limits depends on the water pump circulating the coolant through the engine and radiator.

Overheating is not good for the health of your engine
